Appointment time includes orthopedic testing as indicated based on the client's presenting condition, and by the therapist's discretion (may include postural analysis). Testing is followed by targeted therapeutic massage to best address problem areas, and provide long-term pain relief and re-balancing of the musculoskeletal system.

Assessment-Based Massage Therapy

Emphasis placed on rest and decreasing fight or flight state. Some orthopedic testing may still be warranted to ensure safety of treatment. Painful techniques avoided as much as possible.

Stress Reduction and Relaxation

Manual movement of lymph fluid from areas of stagnation to improve immune function, relieve inflammation (acute or chronic), and ease congestion. A poorly understood, but well-documented link exists between lymph movement and the nervous system, allowing this technique to achieve a wide range of unpredictable and fascinating results in promoting overall health.
